Disc brake mod

One of our cats is getting a Chevy 4.3 V6 and a TH350 automatic. I’m looking for a clean way to add a disc brake to the tail shaft of the trans. Any ideas? Being passed at high speed downhill :bolt: by a semi out of control brakeless Nordwell at McCallin’ All Cats Brundage last year was a lesson learned.

A different thought- instead of dealing with hydraulics of a disk why not use a drum style w/ pull lever? No idea if they would be compatible with a TH350, but almost every old school bus/truck (IH 3600/3800, FRTL FS-65) had the AT545 w/ a tail mount emergency brake. 9" Dia x 4" depth. Everything is still available for them, so it would just be a matter of mating the two. And it should have plenty of power to whoa you down - unless you were coming off of a cliff.
