I've been working on a refurbished Thiokol Spryte the past couple years and thought I would share my work as it is basically finished. I bought the cat with basically no knowledge of Thiokol and its history. To say the least I've learned a ton and this forum has been a huge source of help.
We did some interesting things that may be seen as sacrilegious to the original condition of the spryte but considering the condition it was in when we received it we thought some modern improvements would be nice. Most importantly changing the mechanical drive shaft brake to a wilwood caliper and changing the brake steer to a electro-mechanical actuated toggle system.
