Just to make sure we are in the ball park. I have an inground pool and have to replace the liner. I have a quote for 2684.00 for the complete job. It is an 18x36. Does this sound in the ball park?

Get a second price. Also compare warranties, and who has been around long enough to give some relative assurance that they will be around in the future. Pool liners are expensive, and installed properly they last a long time. Improper installation leaves wrinkles and problems. Also, are they going to be taking the water out and re using it, or or they going to drain and charge to refill? Around here, the pool companies come with large "pools" to salvage the water as best they can, and then they pump it back. Others just drain and charge to refill, or say "put a hose in it". Figure out how many gallons of water are in the pool, and then you will realize the value of that water if you have to purchase it and have it delivered by a bulk water tractor and trailer. Water isn't cheap any longer.
