A friend of mine (Shawn Lish - not on the forum) would like to sell this 1968 443A for $20,000. Has a Chevy 6 cylinder engine, runs well; has fiberglass pontoons, rollers look in good condition. Located in Arbon Valley, Idaho. I believe Rrose from the forum came out and drove it, he may have some information/opinion about it.

Owner is very hard to contact so if you try give it some time, he lives in an area with very limited cell coverage and he is also very busy running his business. I can try to relay info to him, however I also have a hard time contacting him.

Shawn Lish (owner) cell phone is 208 221-8733.

Not that my opinion is of any value, but I thought it was a pretty clean cat. Pontoons seemed to be in great condition. It fired right up from cold. Had a nice original interior. The only negative mark I can give it is a little depression in the roof from maybe overloading the roof mounted box - but not a big deal.

The hospitality that Shawn and his wife offered my family - second to none! Very nice people!

I would have loved to have bought it - it was just a little out of my price range.

I see he has this cat down to $16K now on Craigslist. We went for a drive in it the other day, it runs great. Now is the time to at least go look at it and get a ride. He has access to thousands of acres of farm land with lots of hills in it and it just snowed a bunch. We drove around about 10 hours and had a great time.

We took the 443 and the Frandee out the other day and drove about 10 miles around the snow covered stubble fields, ran great. Here are a few pictures of it in action.

Shawn sold this 443A yesterday. Have no idea who the new owner is or what it went for.
