ST4 door latch broken

Recently broke the door latch on my Snow Trac. The plunger (?) is made of white metal and cannot be welded. Does anyone out ther have a spare one they would be willing to part with? Any suggestions as to a suitable replacement would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob.

Mine was toast when I started rebuilding it. I replaced it with a spare from my JD 310A backhoe. Any truck or equipment repair shop or parts supplier should have something that will work.
