Converting .wmv to .avi files?

Villi, one of our members in Iceland, posted a .wmv file of his Snow Trac running in the snow (where else would he run it?) on our friend Bjorn's website. He tried to post it here but could not. I tried to edit it, but I can't edit .wmv files.

Is there someone who can download Villi's video, convert it to an .avi file format and then email it to me? I can edit .avi files.

Villi's video clip is the first clip on this page. It is about 2MB

Bob,

I'm sending you an e-mail right now. Hope you can receive it as I was afraid to compress the AVI. Now that Adobe has exported it to AVI it is now 84 MB.

Taking a while to send it on my DSL connection.

I'll download it at work, I've got a T1 connection there. Doing it at home would be too painful.
