ST4 starter

Hello,

I have to change the starter of my ST4, engine VW type I.
It looks impossible from the top of the engine and difficult from the bottom side.
Any experience of that and some hints to share ?

Lyndon wrote about doing this. Pulling the whole engine is the best way.

The ST4 uses a special VW starter, a standard starter won't fit properly.
