Pretty Stoked here! Been working on cleaning up my new to me snowcat, LMC 3700 CF. I couldn't find the data plate very easy but knew I would as I kept cleaning and updating things, and behold... So far so good all the parts match the manuals! I've poured over the manuals and LMC's engineer's were competent and put all production run parts into their first machine unlike some Manufacturer's prototypes!!!

Will do I've been taking lots of photos...but I've gotten sidetracked....I've got a SV-250 that I'm on a mission to get finished... I started out cleaning the floor mats, and then the seat squeaked so I went tighten a bolt and it broke, so I noticed the floor was a bit rusty, so I got the rust cleaning machine out (aka flame wrench) and went after it.... now I have a Powered tub...:whistling:

p.s. how do I rotate photos?

One of the big issues with this machine when I got it was the smell inside the cab.... well here’s a video link to where some of the smell was coming from!

WARNING: Not for the Faint of Heart! If you’ve ever smelled rotten mice you will smell it in this video!

https://youtu.be/B4uYyVC3luY

I’ll post the Heater Core side next

Our LMC1200 had a family of those little F'ers living, yep, in the heater. Complete removal of the heater to get it all out. Copious use of glue traps to trap the stragglers. The biggest issue was the urine had soaked all the carpeting that covers the engine doghouse. I used a lot of a spray on enzyme that claims to neutralize urine odors. It worked great. I figured they got in by climbing up the shore power cord and in the hole for the cord. I installed a Marinco AC outlet. No more rodents.

Here’s the Heater Core side! Not nowhere near as bad as they were dry on this side!

But I figured a fix to cleaning the Heater Core!

I’ll make an access hole in the seat base to the core!

Sorry for the delay in posting my last video, we had a water line for our cattle waterer break 8’ below the concrete only to find 50” of frost!

The logo was peeling and faded so I dressed it up a bit!

I have this one in the shed, it was made a couple of years after yours . You can see how much they cut off your tracks

I changed out the vent filters and decided to reroute them along the radiator frame. They were just hanging from the tank and would flop around and potentially wear on the tank, but not anymore!

We’ve had 15” of snow in the last week!
So we took the LMC out to pack feeding trails for the cows! Worked awesome!

Batteries were getting weak so I went to get new batteries and they were outrageous priced, so I decided upon switching to group 31 (Heavy Equipment Batts, very common everywhere) and I can use Batt Harness for a clean look! I also replaced all the cables with 4/0 cables to carry all the current! Of course the new group 31 Batts were bigger....so I did what I’m good at! RetroFab!
P.S. CAT batteries are on sale! And they are the best I’ve found!
