If you get any email threats please share them here for all of us t be aware.

I'll post one I got yesterday ....
Hello!
I'm a member of an international hacker group.

As you could probably have guessed, your account doc@fakedomainname.com was hacked, because I sent message you from your account.

Now I have access to all your accounts!
For example, your password for doc@fakedomainname.com: Pepsi4Cola

Within a period from July 31, 2018 to October 3, 2018, you were infected by the virus we've created, through an adult website you've visited.
So far, we have access to your messages, social media accounts, and messengers.
Moreover, we've gotten full damps of these data.

We are aware of your little and big secrets...yeah, you do have them. We saw and recorded your doings on porn websites. Your tastes are so weird, you know..

But the key thing is that sometimes we recorded you with your webcam, syncing the recordings with what you watched!
I think you are not interested show this video to your friends, relatives, and your intimate one...

Transfer $800 to our Bitcoin wallet: 1PwENLsmQ2Z6b4EJfXDeeXKBj9v878uHRf
If you don't know about Bitcoin please input in Google "buy BTC". It's really easy.

I guarantee that after that, we'll erase all your "data"

A timer will start once you read this message. You have 48 hours to pay the above-mentioned amount.

Your data will be erased once the money are transferred.
If they are not, all your messages and videos recorded will be automatically sent to all your contacts found on your devices at the moment of infection.

You should always think about your security.
We hope this case will teach you to keep secrets.
Take care of yourself.

I know this is total BS. The email address they used is one I was using to sign up for forums and sites 10 or so years ago. The password was indeed my throw away one that I use on new sites / forums I use. It was my default at the time. It is not used anymore except for on the sites I signed up on years ago.

I'm guessing these slimballs got ahold of a server with the password files and ran a crack pgm on them. They came up with the password and email address. They don't know your name or anything else. I figure some wll fall for this BS but most will know better (I hope).

I've got this message on multiple email accounts that I maintain for my domains. This helps me to know they are spam, multiple messages the same word for word with the title changed and the sender name changed.

As part of the site supporter bennies I will give a forwarding email address for .forumsforums.com to any of you who want one. PM or post

(a forwarding email address would allow you to put AnyName@forumsforums.bom (.com ..bom to throw off bots) on any form or site sign up form. Then when they send confirmation email my email server will forward the email to your primary email account (ie: AnyName@gmail.com) ....

I never get stuff like that since I'm using mail.com only.
I do get spam, from Ollie's warehouse.
:yum:
Don't even have an active account through here now.
Cause it doesn't work.
Gmail stopped, so I get no subscribed thread alerts either.

If you want PM me your mail.com address and I'll plug that in here. It might work that way.

Does it even matter now at this point?
As long as I can get here, that's good enough for me.
I'll send it to you, but it's actually nice not having all the alerts popping in all the time.
I've gotten used to it.

In options email notifications are easy to turn off ...no biggie to me either way. If you want me to change it I will, otherwise lets leave it alone.

As long as it's working, I'd rather leave it alone.
I get one personal email from there and do banking local and communication from abroad.
I trust it because it's very private.
Besides if I switch it again, I'll get locked out again like last time.
Remember?
