Interesting take on the virus, but Maria Bartiromo was interviewing US Commerce Secretary William Ross.
As many major corporation have relied on cheap foreign labor and to provide finished products, as well as complex components, which are then assembled and incorporated into finished goods in places like the US and Mexico, but now are faced with potential shortages of those components from Asia as the Corona virus has potential to explode, it is reasonable to assume that some goods and jobs will return to on-shore sources.
Ross stated the North American economy might benefit from the outbreak as companies "reevaluate their supply chains" to factor in emergent outbreak risk.
I would hate to think that there is a silver lining to the potential of a global health pandemic but this certainly could be good North America's economies.
Further, if the communist leaders are ultimately blamed for their obvious mismanagement of the treatment and containment of the Corona virus by the peoples of China it could lead to mass protests and that might tarnish the socialist ideals that seem to be spreading around the globe among the younger people who don't recall the horrors of the USSR, don't understand the truth about Cuba, and never believed that Venezuela was actually socialist.

"First of all, every American's heart has to go out to the victims of the coronavirus. I don't want to talk about a victory lap over a very unfortunate very malignant disease. But the fact is, it does give business another thing to consider when they go through their review of their supply chain. On top of all the other things - you had SARS, you had the African swine virus there, now you have this - it's another risk factor that people need to take into account."
"I think it will help to accelerate the return of jobs to North America, some to the US and some to Mexico as well."
