I came across a DMC 1450 in horrible shape. The guy said "the rear end is out of it" which I found out meant the entire rear end was missing when I looked at it. Tracks are off, front blade is pretty much destroyed, many missing parts and the rest is in very poor shape. It has been a major mouse condo for the last 11 years. The cab interior is pretty much a faint memory. I have no idea if the engine will even turn over. It had a hard life before they started taking it apart to "fix" it. Ending up losing most of the parts and throwing others away.
The data plate says the serial number is DOC 1436. 3600 Lb shipping weight. 6000 Lb gross weight.
Can anyone tell me what year this thing is?
My research tells me it would have had an OC12 rear end in it. Are there any available anywhere? I would need it sprocket to sprocket.
It has lots of "character" but it is almost a lost cause. If I can't find a rear end then if I went forward I'd have to build it as a hydrostatic and that just adds to my problems.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Speedy
