I was able to track down a Snow Trac that is an excellent restoration (good enough to win awards). Its located in Swansea, South Wales. The owner is a guy named Philip Chatfield and I've not been able to contact him but am hoping to track him down.

I wonder if Anita (Ice Queen) actually knows him? Or maybe Alan (Tommo) knows him? As I understand it both of them frequent military vehicle shows and the owner of this Snow Trac is a military vehicle collector.

The photos can be seen on this website: Royal Marines Snow Trac

I don't know of the guy in question, but will try to make a few enquiries for you Bob. The above picture looks as though it was taken at the big military rally called the War and Peace Show in Kent, but I may be wrong. I see that it is on the MVT Military Vehicle Trust website. I am a member of MVT so maybe I can follow up that lead - will let you know any results.
