Well guys here is a little know fact you are welcome to check out.
The polar caps are fresh water and when melted they will effect the gulf stream due to the amount of fresh water. Now the gulf stream is basically narrow fresh water river in the middle of a saltwater sea the Atlantic ocean. Now it is said if that is shut down which too much fresh water will cause to happen, England will lose its fairly mild climate due to said gulf stream, forcing it through a mini ice age. Florida's weather will also change bringing much colder temperatures than it is used too. The gulf stream is now why it has only snowed a couple of times in southern Florida over recorded history while it snows regularly at more southern areas of the earth. The gulf stream is usually hotter than surrounding waters. It also flows from South to North.
