In the hospital

Last Wednesday night I started having difficulty breathing, went to dialysis for 4hours as soon as got out we headed for the emergency room, x rays, mri, possible pneumonia, put on oxygen, given a bunch of antibiotics, 2 units of blood, and extra rounds of dialysis to try and pull off the excess fluid in my lungs. Breathing is slowly improving, still fell like I got hit by a truck.

I hope the hospital gets a grip on this soon ,and that you heal up and start feeling better very soon .
All the best , John

Last year I had similar symptoms. They were treating with antibiotics. No joy. Finally a lung specialist figured out my issue was viral. Horrible feeling. Best wishes for a fast recovery.

Thanks for all the well wishes. They have been pumping me full of antibiotics and using extra dialysis treatment to help remove extra fluid my normal dry weight at dialysis is110 kilograms, yesterday day they pulled me down to 106.3 kilograms (a kilogram is 2.2 pounds) in other words I now have to drink a glass of water in order to spit. They are starting to wean me off the oxygen to. Again thanks. David

A few moths back I spent about three weeks in the hospital myself. Water retention was just one of the issues and they managed to take a 100 pounds off me in that amount of time. Was as weak as a newborn kitten when I first came home and have come a long ways since then and feeling better all the time. Anyway try to follow their advise and do what you can for yourself and maybe before long you'll feel like a brand new man....

Thank you, I am feeling better, I have dialysis again tomorrow, so they will suck more out of me then I am already several kilograms below my normal dry weight.
