Default Cranmore Magic Carpet

Trying to replicate this early form of grooming equipment called "The Magic Carpet". Don't think I will find one but doesn't look difficult to reproduce.

I know the good people here can solve the equation for material ideas . Plan is to use it for demonstrations at local ski areas . Of course will be pulled by a Tucker!

I use a small drag harrow (flat side down, teeth up) on our pastures and turnouts to break up and spread the horse poop.

Found this picture at TSC. Mine is similar but the teeth on mine are much less aggressive.

This type harrow isn't used much any more. More modern implements can be picked up and transported easily on the 3 point hitch.

I'm sure that somewhere in this world a farmer has one rolled up gathering rust. Just cut off the teeth.

The other names for it: Drag mat, arena drag. None cheap. a 4x5 ft can be had for $60 +/- but it's pretty light. and not near as pretty as the above picture.

Think I located one at the farm next door I run my sno cat on. Will get some pic once I find it. Hoping it is just what I am looking for!
