More Propaganda For My Liberal Left Leaning Friends

I am disheartened to see CB giving up so soon before the election. In many of his statements and posts, I also must agree especially about getting a third party that would actually be viable. At this time, I still feel a third party vote is a vote against McCain and or a vote for the liberal left that appears to have it wrapped up for now.

It's too bad that the people who need to view this will either not view it or go into denial over it. The 'people on the street' will not ever see it and if they do, will not pay any attention to it. .....Scary.....

A vote for McCain is a vote against the third party that may still be able to repair the US and a vote for the liberal left that appears to have it wrapped up for now.

MT,

I have realized that the nation is insolvent. Once any entity becomes insolvent, they must either liquidate all assets and downsize, or file for bankruptcy and start over. What is happening now with these enormous bailouts is the same as a family who spends more than they are earning. Rather than cutting back, the family decides to use their credit cards to pay their mortgage and car payments instead of selling those things they cannot afford. So, when they finally have maxed out all lines of credit, the whole house of cards comes crashing down around them.

That is where I believe we are as a nation today. We are in the process of maxing out the credit cards when we should be cutting back. Multiply the family examples crash by about 100 million times and that is what we are about to experience. It is best to let the nation be in the control of the Democrats when it comes crashing down. It is the only way people will learn. The crash is coming regardless of who is in the White House. Might as well let the Dems run it into the ground sooner rather than later.

Why? Does a 3rd party candidate actually have a shot this election? So yes, if you are in one one of the hotly contested battle ground states, ie; Florida, Ohio, Penn.... yes you are hurting McCain but voting for a 3rd party candidate.

You Reps are hurting the 3rd party by voting your party just to defeat the Dems even if your candidate is worse than a 3rd party candidate. Everyone should get on board a 3rd party and get rid of the Reps and Dems. It is YOU who are hurting AMERICA. A 3rd party may not have a shot because YOU are not giving it one. 'Battleground states' are a figment of the two-party system imagination. We need to stop thinking 2D in a 3D world. <--I don't really know what that means, just thought it sounded cool. :rolf2:

Yup. I'm with Wilson here.

AKA Smiling Bob?

Look, we have to start somewhere. Do you guys really want to watch McCain fumble around, get pissed off at some world leader, go off and embarrass the nation? You guys all need to study some basic economics and our Federal Reserve system and begin to understand what is about to happen. Let the Dumbassocrats have the reigns during the crash. Pelosi is just gonna blame it on McCain if he wins. Let Obama take the blame and set the stage for a third party to thin out these morons in DC.

Pelosi if Obama wins will only blame everything on Bush. I am afraid we will be hearing about Bush for many years to come.

But that can only last for so long. Hopefully Obushma will get reelected and go down with the ship. I know it sounds bad, but the crash is inevitable at this point. Let the messiah fix it.

Bobcat, how in hell are we hurting the third party when in reality there is no viable third party? Your reasoning is like taking the middle road in hope you can eventually get to the high road. It has not worked in the past and will not work this election. At least if we elect a republican president we may save a little bit of what is left of the country before they turn us into a total socialistic regime with control of both the legislative and the executive branch. And by the way, the majority of republicans that are voting for McCain do believe he is the best possible candidate available now as none of the third party candidates are electable today.

I do agree with CB to let the ship sink with Obama at the wheel if he is elected as that is probably the best we will get out of any democrat president trying to straighten out what the Dems have already screwed up in the past with covering up the mortgage fiasco in Fannie and Freddie along with their socialistic give aways of a chicken in every pot and free this and that to those who will not work for anything anyway.........:furious:

where have we heard this before. I know you are 100% right. And while we are there, forget about your 150 mill in donations (really bribes to get something back), you do this on YOUR OWN DAMN DIME..........see how many smart, intelligent men and women we get to spend 150 mill to get a 400K a year job.....................maybe this pay should be cut too

I think a lot of people are afraid to vote for the 3rd party trying to protect the lesser of the two evils thinking their vote won't count. And it may not count. But until people get over that thinking and start voting for the 3rd party for others to see that the 3rd party has a chance it will never happen. Start now, hopefully the numbers are great and maybe by the next election maybe the general public will be ready for the 3rd party. I think McCain no longer has a chance in he**, Obama is going to win so vote now, let the public see the numbers so in 4 more years the 3rd party has a chance.

Ha! How in the heck are we 3rds hurting McCain if he is not a viable candidate!?!? My road is the middle road in your opinion, it is the correct path in mine. We elected a Rep president twice now, and where are we? Yes, the Dems are heading down the road to socialism, but it appears the Reps may be heading down the road to some sort of totalitarianism. Just as the majority of Reps believe McCain is the best possible candidate available, the majority of Dems believe Obama is the best possible candidate available. What's your point there?

So then why vote for McCain?

I'm all in favor of a 3rd party but I don't understand how they think they can have a snowballs chance in hell for the presidency when they don't have any representation at the state and local level. That is where the 3rd party can be most effective. Let Obama take the presidency over a newly elected congress and senate dominated by newly elected 3rd party candidates. Fire ALL the incumbents!!!!

No, Wilson of the Forums, I do not vote down party lines. In the last several elections, if there was a libertarian candidate for state and local, I voted for them. Will continue to do so.
