Huh?
It was 91 years ago today that RMS Lusitania was attacked and sunk by the German U-boat, U-20. Lusitania was six days into her voyage from New York to Liverpool. She was within sight of the southern coast of Ireland. She sank 12 miles off the Old Head of Kinsale. 1,198 people perished. 761 were rescued.
I love those old four pipe steamers. They were magnificent ships.
The three paintings were done by renowned maritime artist Ken Marshall. He has painted numerous pictures of Titanic.

You will notice that some of the paintings show the Lusitania with the Cunard red funnels and some in black funnels. Here is an interesting website that says why she had black funnels.
