We both work full time and have 4 kids. So cooking big meals is a little annoying on most days. We decided to try something new this week. Slow cooker meals. We prepped everything last sunday into little packages then froze them. One night was oriental chicken. One night was a honey smoked ham steak with pineapple and cranberries. Another night was lasagna. Then chili. Tonight is snappy chicken. Makes life soo much easier during the week. With all the veggies and sauces done up on sunday and frozen with the meat, it's nothing to take a pack out in the evening and through it in the slow cooker in the morning. When we get home, supper is pretty much ready.
Anyone else have good slow cooker recipes that can be prepped beforehand then frozen?
