Binions Ranch Steakhouse in Las Vegas-great food, great ambience, great view-my wife and I always make a point to eat there when we're in town-she'd divorce me if we left LV and she didn't have one of their "Chicken fried lobsters"! Her description of it is "heaven on a plate". I'm not really a lobster fan because they remind me of giant crawdads (aka "Mudbugs"), so I go with a tried and true ribeye!

Locally, there are some pretty decent restaraunts in Omaha, but my favorite is "Dos de Oros"....a taco truck, where dining "al fresco" means you put your tailgate down!

A little Gasthaus off of Gustavstrasse in Fuerth, FRG. Some of the best schnitzel I ever ate and their jaegar stew was to die for. The beer was as always in Germany, fantastic.

There's a little place called CJ's in Lafette, GA that has some awesome catfish. Add a little fried okra and hush puppies....

The owner, who runs the register, will gladly show you the .38 auto he keeps in his pocket for when the "sit at home people" get out of hand after cashing their checks. He loads it with a solid to slow 'em down, then a hollow to put 'em down.

There ain't just one so I'll defer ........ as far as the one I frequent and is ONE of the best places I've experienced ............. Addison House

The prime rib, stuffed flounder, lobster bisque, and stuffed banana peppers are staples!

Morton's Steakhouse in Chicago is that one that comes to mind for me. Exquisite. A true 5 star restaurant which others are judged by. The steak was the best I've ever had. The sides were stupendous. It was very expensive but well worth it.

For a down home more regular place that is best: Der Dog House (or Haus) in Parkersburg WV. GREAT hamburgers, good steaks and 10+ kinds of specialty dogs. A fun non pretentious place with great food. :thumb:

And Dawg, another good one that I'll have once or twice a year is the New Orleans Seafood feast at Ruby Tuesday's that you turned me on to. Very good. I think it's the best food item on the menu at Ruby Tuesdays.

Best place to eat? Hmmm.....

For prime rib...hands down....The Prospector Steak House in Thunder Bay. Prime rib you can cut with a fork that melts in your mouth. Decent salad bar with great soups. Fresh sweet rolls that come out of the oven every ten minutes. Yummy!!!

They have a cattle farm outside the city where they raise their own cattle for the beef. It's great! The place has a rustic look to the inside and is decorated with old mining stuff.
