OK, unedited, realtime pics (I didn't clean or anything).
Although "shop" is in the title, it appears OK to post of other (although related) areas.
First, exterior shots.
Main building (32x48') + carport (16x24') attached to the back.
Storage building (10x50')
Wood sheds - left is 10x20', right is 12x24'
I threw in the last one just to show the little hill in my back yard.

The shop area (in the main building). This is the heated section and is 16x27'.
Not quite done as it needs more insulation, OSB, paint....
The black foam insulation is only for the winter. It's removed for lighting in the summer but since it's already dark by time I get out there this time of year, I can use the extra R factor.

The carport shed off the back of the main building.

The installed white shelves are the ones I have but selling the rest of them.

A little stash of firewood off the back of it (as I have a creek between the house and woodshed(s) that I may not be able to cross at times.

Nice shops guys.

Mine is 32x48 12' under the truss, in floor heat, 10x18 door on each end (keeps it cool in the summer)

If your going to heat it make sure you insulate well.
A tip for during your design. Take measurements of the things you have to put in it and try to picture how you would organize it. Then add on some more space if you can.

Here are a few pix of the shop I had built last year. This first set shows a before and after of the front and back. If you look carefully at the back view you can see the shed has been relocated down hill from the completed shop. That relocated shed is a 10' x 20' nice building materials storage unit now.

The shop is 30' x 50', has a bathroom and the back room is a machine shop. Built it with 10' high and 6" thick walls for insulation and the ceiling is an arched truss, full insulated. In case I run out of room, I can get two car lifts inside the arch and raise the cars fully--the ceiling is pre-wired with 240V for the lifts. Under each window is a plug so one is always accessable because you don't stack stuff over windows.

I have one row of plugs near the ceiling on a switch for this. . .
