TR'S No crust Apple Pie

It' fall and up here in the north country that means it's apple time!! Here is a great recipe for a No Crust Apple Pie. It's easy and take it from me, delicious.

6-8 APPLES MEDIUM SIZE
1 ½ STICKS BUTTER
1 EGG
1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
1 C FLOUR
1 C SUGAR
1 TSP GROUND CINNAMON
¼ TSP NUTMEG
PINCH SALT X2

PERHEAT OVEN TO 350F. PEEL AND SLICE APPLES INTO WEDGES. TOSS APPLES WITH CINNAMON, NUTMEG AND SALT. PLACE APPLES IN A 9” PIE PLATE OR A SPRING FORM PAN. SPRING FORM PAN IS BETTER. MELT BUTTER IN A MICROWAVE AND ALLOW TO COOL. WHISK IN EGG AND VANILLA EXTRACT. THEN ADD THE FLOUR, SUGAR, AND ANOTHER PINCH OF SALT. WHISK UNTIL SMOOTH (THE BATTER WILL BE VERY STICKY). POUR BATTER EVENLY OVER APPLES, YOU MAY NEED TO TOSS THE APPLES A BIT.

BAKE FOR 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR OR UNTIL THE CENTER IS SOFT WHEN POKED WITH A TOOTHPICK. THE TOP SHOULD TURN INTO A LIGHT GOLDEN BROWN COLOR. LET COOL A BIT AND ENJOY.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS INCLUDE VANILLA ICE CREAM OR CABOTS SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE.
