Heat wave on the way. We are at 48 today, 60 tomorrow.
Have you fixed any hot coco?

No cocoa. We are at 30 now and supposed to warm and melt but it sure is a slow process. It is still on the greenhouses so it has not warmed much yet. Glad for the snowmelt in the back porch.

Our overnight ice is now a nice slush mix. Fog has settled in as the temp just rose to 35. I'm expecting a huge run-off and possibly some flooding as we're going to stay above freezing until Wednesday.

Kids aren't happy about that. Daughter is supposed to go on a big sledding trip on Friday, son is doing Boy Scout Klondike Derby for the weekend. No snow will suck for both of them.

They might get some fresh snow late in the week. Going to be cold for Klondike for sure. The morning meal used to be a challenge when it snowed. Boys found out what dry wood was all about.

Not sure where daughter is going. Just know it's a Church bus taking them so they may be heading to the highlands which should have snow.

Klondike forecast has 20's during the day, teens at night. That's expected for February. If no snow, that will mess up their activities.
