Could you folks give me some idea of what the reputation is of Peterson Equipment company, I have been in conversation with them about buying a used Thiokol 1450 IMP they seem like very nice folks, the only review that I have read was from this forum dated 2009 and it seemed they had a few problems with some repair work, I know people tend to complain way faster then say positive things, anyway any help would be great you can private message me if you want and I will keep anything I hear very confidential.

Peterson maintained, then sold my 1200 for me. From them I have bought two Aebi tractors which they also maintain. This is an honest, conscientious, trustworthy company. If there were stars to award, they would have five.

To be fair, I think you should get UtahWilson's opinion first hand. It was his machine and he knows the whole story as far as what he asked them to do and his experience with them.
