A good friend of mine works for Vulture's Row in California as an aluminum fabricator and master mechanic- he does my vintage motorcycle engine rebuilds. He sent me this video of one of their current projects. Wonder if they would do my Tucker 442a?

One of my wife's clients is an incredible 94 year old woman who, along with her husband, worked for Vought Aircraft during WW2 in Stratford CT. He was older then her and more of a big wig in the company. She was more or less a Rosie Riveter. Not sure if they worked on the Corsair aka Whistling Death.

The Corsair was an incredible airplane. According to the Youtube video, it still is.

I dunno that I would trust them with something as complex and valuable as a vintage Tucker. No WWII era aircraft is as special as an early snowcat :bolt:

But seriously WOW!

Cool!

I have been a long time viewer of blancolirio's You Tube channel...

My bet is a Tucker would not be a challenge for this shop..

Small world!

I was one of blancolirio's (Juan Browne) Flight Commanders when he went through pilot training back in my USAF days. Good Guy! His youtube video of the Roy Halladay Icon A5 crash is worth watching, if you're so inclined: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1AjJ19QqbE

I've never stopped by, but at the Idaho Falls airport there is an outfit that does warbird restorations; Pacific Fighters. Here's a link: http://www.pacificfighters.net/home.html

The Vought F4U Corsair. The most powerful naval aviation aircraft over the Pacific Ocean waters in 1943.

The Galleries, the Art Collections, and all the kinds of Museums, (Archaeological, Technology, Artillery, Heritage, Aviation, Art Work Workshops, Ceramic, Ethnographic, Geology, Folk, National, Natural History, Design, Virtual, including Sex Museum) are the GREAT INSPIRATION for everyone (Especially for me ). These institutions cares for (conserves) a collection of artefacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance.
In that place i have met the most amazing and creativity men.

I Get the same feeling, every day with you Guys, in that Community. The SNOW CAT Community is an OPEN MIND MUSEUM.

BUT......I have to make a Proposal to the administrators of the Forums.

There is no ART LOVERS topic.

I think we need the ART WORK Community and all the products of Modern or Applied Arts Photograph, Design, Decoration, Graphic, Industrial Design, Craft production, Metalwork, new printing techniques, fashion - graphic, and most recently computer graphics designers.
