Hey guys;
I bought a Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe last month and now I'm scouting out places to ride. I'm in SE Ohio and have the Wayne National Forest trails just 45 mins away. However I have found out they only allow vehicles up to 50 inches wide. My Honda is 62 inches wide. So, I'm planning to try out the following trails that are a 2 hour to 5 hour drive from my home base.
Hatfield and McCoy Trails in WV

Rush Off Road Trails in KY

Ride Royal Blue in TN

The TN trail allows alcohol.
I'm looking for a little adventure and scenic nature views. I do not plan to take my UTV swiming. If the water is above the floorboards I won't cross. Nor am I looking for challenging rock climbs like some UTV folks do. Each place labels the trails so you have a good idea how challenging your ride will be. Since I have not been on any trails other than the ones on my property I'll be starting out on beginner and then move to intermediate. I doubt I ever do the most challenging, I prefer not to bust up myself or my buggy.
If any of you want to join me on these trails or want company on trails you plan to ride give me a shout. If timing works out maybe we can hook up.
