See the link above for the full story, but this might be just another chink in the armor that defends Obama.
Buried in Appendix III of this week’s blockbuster joint staff report on Operation Fast and Furious is a memorandum that lists Washington among the top 12 source states for firearms seized in Mexico during 2009, and traced to federally-licensed firearms dealers.

Gun Rights Examiner obtained a copy of Appendix III, which may be read here. Gun rights activists are already digesting the information with mixed reaction.

The memo, appearing on page 174 of the 191-page Appendix III, was written by Kenneth Melson, then-acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and it was addressed to the attorney general. Dated March 26, 2010, this would have made Eric Holder aware of Operation Fast and Furious almost a year prior to the time that Holder told Congress last year that he became aware of the operation, if he read it.

Listed in addition to Washington as top source states for recovered guns are Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, Colorado, Oklahoma, Illinois, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia.

Sharyl Atkisson of CBS News warned us long ago that there were at least ten gun-walking operations. Some were designed to ramp up violence in Mexico, some were presumably designed to ramp up domestic gun violence, such as what we’re seeing in Chicago due to Gangwalker.

They will thumb their noses at these reports and go into evasion mode again. In the end, with Holder in charge it will all just turn into another circus and be drug out till after elections. These folks have mastered the coverup better than any administration.
