Just had another bowl of vanilla ice cream with strawberries from yesterday in syrup for a topping. Going to get more on Saturday from the Amish neighbor lady. We reserved 10 more quarts since they are fabulous this year.:clap::clap:

Darn it. I haven't had one strawberry from the garden this year. I'll have to go check on them tomorrow. Maybe the slugs are getting fat???

The squirrels and the deer finally cleaned up the last of the early peaches and the plums but the late peaches are are still coming on. Looks like a good crop too. I can hardly wait.

Looks like a good crop too. I can hardly wait.
A late freeze (6-8 weeks ago) destroyed everything. Peaches, pears, cherries, mulberry's and my apples. I have nothing left. Same crap happened last year too. Sucks.
