know of a good freeware site?

I am looking for a good freeware site. Even the ones like Nonags and Tucows now want install junk supposedly to "help" you download faster with their freeware. I don't want much just some simple programs like poker , maybe blackjack that sort of thing.

Just checked my computer (new Windows 7 machine) by going to Start, Games.

Looks like all the games are from WildTangent.

Their web reputation is very high and I doubt it would be bundled with Windows if they were downloading crap to people's PC's.

www.majorgeeks has a subsection on games. I don't play games, so I haven't a clue on what they have, but the rest of the site has good stuff that works, and is free.

Thx I will check them out I already got hooked on a game called "Poker 25" on Cnet.
