Castle Doctrine comes to the rescue for a man who was defending himself and his home from a man who threatened him with a bat.

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11361/1199563-100.stm

Turned out the man with the bat was also screwing the wife of the homeowner, called and threatened his life several times, then came to his home to beat him with a bat. Having no gun handy, the homeowner pulled out his trusty bow & arrow and shot the attempted intruder in the chest with an arrow. The perp died on the front steps.

I wonder if the Bow was a dreaded "semi-auto" model :whistling:

I'm sure the press will list it as full auto!

No doubt it was an "evil black" bow, with a high capacity magazine, uh, I mean quiver.

We can assume that the Prsident is on this. He will be unable to get Congress to work with him as the TEA's insist on their rights to possess bows.

Many will argue that registration of such "assault " bows will not infringe that right. But since the President is ignoring Congress the arguements are mute. He will simply write the laws to protect us from ourselves.

Look for the folks at OSHA to create a 2000 page compliance doctrine on this rampant misuse of archery technologies. :whistling:

Eric "we are a nation of cowards" Holder sets plans into motion for the straw-man purchase of thousands of illegal assault bows - along with armor piercing arrow heads - to be smuggled into Canada. The alleged goal is to trace the illegal arms to the capos of the northern moon shine and beaver fur cabals in an effort to fight the highly addictive and illegal 'shine crossing the Northern borders.

The plan goes awry when the DOJ looses track of the stringed weapons and a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police dies from wounds received when he was shot in the ass with one of the deadly arrows by a 93-year old Canuck Indian, nick-named Moose Pie.

Holder denies knowledge of the project, saying it must be something that Hillary started under the Clinton administration. Or maybe Bush.

I hear there will be a waiting period on raw bamboo and willow branches soon.

It is reported that the government has raided major bow manufacture to serve papers in searching for smuggled in exotic woods used to manufacture these horrible weapons of minimal distruction!

Shoe laces are now being put on the Federal watch lists for use in these suspect bows, there have been mass airport inspections of People wearing boots without laces (BWL) as covert operatives in the bow trade!

More to follow as the breaking news arrives

So that's why they confiscated my beloved "Boondoggers."
