Simple, no-nonsense, handy timer utility with a cool, customizable interface. Can be used like an oven timer, alarm clock, or stopwatch. Plays wav, mp3, midi files, or any of several built-in sounds as an alarm. Can optionally display a custom, scrolling, LED-type text message when the alarm sounds to remind you why you set the timer initially.

I use this and I love it. For example, last night I used it to cook the best Ribeye steak ever. First I set the broiler to broil, and put a baked potato in the microwave for 5 minutes. I was here on the computer, and when 5 minutes was up.. there is no way to ignore the warning. I had to get my ass up and turn the potato and set the timer again. (The wimpy microwave timer across the room don't count) This is in your face LOUD.
Then when the steak was on - I set it for 3:30 and had to flip the yummy thing. Then 3:30 later.. I plopped it on a plate. OMFG! Timing is the key.
So tonight I'm using this gem to cook oven baked chicken. As I have before.
