Have you ever tried these guys chicken? Its a national chain out here .They sell it in the deli at the big store in Grangeville . Its damn good . I love the gizzards thsy make too . Its become our favorite place to grab a quick bite on the run !!! A lot cheaper than KFC and I think its better ! I think they mainly target stores as their outlet source .

Oh my God Al.
It's been ages since I've had some country fried gizzards.
KFC doesn't carry them around here any longer, but Lee's Famous Recipe does.

Too bad I have to work today, and the nearest Lee's is miles from here.

grrrrrrrrrrrr I need a chicken gizzard fix now!:yum::hammer:

and..

Fried Chicken Gizzards

Chicken gizzards
Oil for frying
Self-rising flour to coat
Seasonings of choice (salt, pepper, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, sage,
Cajun seasoning, etc.)

Rinse the gizzards well. Season to taste. Coat with flour.

Place in hot cooking oil (be careful). Cover and fry until gizzards are
tender.

Tip: Before seasoning the gizzards, boil them with a little meat tenderizer.
This will cut down on the frying time and make for a moister gizzard.
