Financial TV show was on in the background this afternoon and I hear them talking about investing in today's very uncertain market. They seemed to agree on several points, that being that stocks are very risky right now.
They also spoke about the JUNGLE BOOK type of investing as the safest thing to do right now. Someone said its just like the Disney song: THE BEAR NECESSITIES
Basically you invest in HARD ASSETS that are needed by people. Not stocks, but commodities. Gold, Silver, Oil were all mentioned. All went up today despite the fact that the market went down.
They all indicated that DEFENSIVE investing right now is wise. Holding cash, holding gold, etc.
