This morning I hit a new low point in my life . I am really happy about that . As of today ,I am down 56 pounds . I have learned to hate nighttime tv as all they have is food commercials . I started back in early November and its been a slow and steady decline to this point . I am down 6 " in my waist and two shirt sizes . Even my feet are getting smaller . I hope to be done in another 6 months .

You've exceeded my best result which was 50 pounds in about 6 months. Since I've sitting around a LOT lately because of the weather, I've gained back about 5 pounds of that but I've started working outside again so hopefully it'll disappear.
Congrats Big Fella or is it Medium Fella yet????

No its still Big Al and will be for a long time . I figure I got 6 more months of hard work before I start shopping at a Petite store . At 6'-4" that may never be a option .
Its just sad that it took a major injury to get me to realize that I had to do this or die young . They say the Good Lord works in strange ways . It may sound funny but I now thank God for getting knocked on my Ass and tearing up my shoulder because I do not think I would have been able to do this if it was not for the constant soreness that I feel 24/7 . I am not complaining , its just the good Lord reminding me to stay on track .

WOW! That is great news indeed. I eat fruits at night while watching TV. Does that count? Maybe I should stop doing that huh? I may not see myself as big but calories do add up. Hmmmm.
Good luck on the next 6 months!
Good job Al!!!!! Congrats.
I have to ask, what got you loosing again? A month or so ago you were stuck at one weight, and you obviously got past it. Did time take care of it ...or did you have to do what some suggested which was to eat more calories so your body did not think you were starving it?
I got serious about loosing some weight last month. I'm down 12 pounds so far. Changing my eating habits and trying to eat healthier. Tivo helps me get through the food commercials at night. :thumb: :D

I increased my calories a little bit ,to about 1200 , and my exercise a lot . I still get stuck ,but not as bad as before .Seems like somedays I don't lose and then I may drop 2 or 3 pounds the next few days . The weight drop has averaged to about 3-4 pounds a week now , but i'll take that anyday:biggrin:The wife thinks I am ready to go down to XL shirts but I think another 20 pounds are needed to be lost before I can .

Boy that's the truth ...and I'm even somewhat ambidextrous. I can't imagine having to do everything left handed.
Congrats Al. You got them scales moving in the right direction. :thumb:

All the fruit we added to the diet must be working along with the extra exercise . I'm down 6 pounds in two days ! The wife went down 2 1/2 pounds .
I'm happy but to tired to care .

Ain't that the turth !!! I gave up coach class after my fat ass went to sleep for 9 hours about 5 years ago .
First Class and all the free drinks I can handle now !!!! I just use my air miles and up grade . Its well worth it . I sit in the VIP lounge ,relax , eat and watch tv between flights . It does have its perks .

I officially blew the crap outta my diet today :w00t2:. I ordered Pizza and ate it until i hurt . First time in damn near 4 months and I am happy:clap: .
I been feeling spent by noontime the last few days . So tomorrow I climb back on the wagon and I happily go back to my 1000-1200 calories a day knowing it will be about 4 months before I have another chance to screw up again . Such is life . :shifty: I figure I wll be down 100 plus pounds by then .
Congrats Allen. Way to go. Good pic in your avatar too!!!!!!! :thumb:

Ok ,it was "weigh in day" today . I figured after going out to dinner with my Son and gorging myself on Pizza I would be up a little .
I am down another pound in two days ????
The wife has been telling me I need to eat more to lose weight quicker . I guess she is right .

That's a tough one for me. The only time my wife can get me to shut up is when I'm eating!
