No, I haven't shot them yet. Hopefully, I have time to do the break in procedure tomorrow.

What calibers? and are those the scopes that Savage puts on them? They look great!

Nice. Very similar to my savage 300 win.mag. Only I don't have a scope. I figure if I can hit a popcan at 250 yrds with open sights, then a moose or deer should be no problem.

10FCP-K in .223 and 110FCP-K in .300 Win Mag. The scopes are Burris Fulfield II scopes.
I sold my AR because it just wasn't all that exciting for me and I'm in the process of selling two other guns so I went all out.
The .223 is much easier to practice with and is good for Varmints. The 300 Win Mag is for the longer distances. My old Savage 111 300 Win Mag was very accurate out to 300 yards.
Word is these guys should be pretty darn accurate once broken in. I hope I can shoot them good enough - they are probably better than I am.
Not sure if I will like the Muzzle Brakes but they look cool and I can always take them off. Maybe some day I'll move to a silencer friendly state and they will be ready for a can. ;)

What model of Savage do you have? I really like my 111 and suspect this one will be a little better.

I've got a 111. Not too crazy about the clip setup on it but it shoots deadly accurate.

What kind of iron sights are you using? I kind of like the idea of putting iron sights on my 111 now that I took the scope off.

Mine never had a scope...came with the factory sights.

I did some googling. It looks like I can get some iron sights but I'd have to drill and tap the barrel. Might be a fun project.
I tried to sell the gun locally but I could only get one bite at $250 and that didn't seem worth it. I'll probably just put the factory Simmons scope on it and keep it for hunting. At 6.5 lbs it is a little lighter than the 110FCP (9 lbs).
I like the 300 Win Mag load. With the Remington Managed Recoil loads it is not too much for deer and full loads can be used for everything else found in Washington state.

I went with the 300 win mag simply because it's got the power to knock down a moose but not too much for a deer. I went in to the gun shop originally with my heart set on a remington 7600 in 30.06 but came out with this instead. Not much kick to her either. My 12 guage seems to have more.
My .308 and 303 brit had way more kick than this thing. I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn at 20 yrds with the .308. The 303 wasn't much better. I sold them a few yrs ago along with a remington semi-auto 22 to get this one.

Alright, I aerated my lawn and killed some Poplar leaves - I like muzzle brakes. The recoil on the .223 feels like a .22LR and the .300 Win Mag is almost pleasant to shoot.
Off to the range tomorrow. I won't be posting any targets unless I am unusually good.

I never really followed up on this. The .223 is a tack driver. The .300 WinMag is pretty nice but I forgot to loctite the scope bases and they came loose after 10 rounds. I ended up putting an EGW .20 MOA base on it but haven't had time to do much shooting lately. I've got a ton of reloads ready just no time.
However, the twins were apparently not related and managed to pop out a little one last week:

Yup, a little Mark II FV for backyard plinking. I try to be nice to my neighbors so I'm only using aguila .22 super colibri which are amazingly quiet out of this gun. Not super consistent and slow enough that you can see them flying. Still fun to get some trigger time in the backyard.
