Thanks, now I got that stupid bacon strip commercial running through my head! (you know the one for dogs)
I love bacon so much that I won't buy any to make at home.Know what I mean?
I think I would die a horrible death if I had to live without bacon.
Not that I need a bacon fix every day, heck I can go for 2 weeks without it, but if someone fries it up, I'M THERE

Crispy, yes! The only way. The original idea was for a sandwich. My 'sampling' got out of hand though. I'm embarrassed to admit that I just pigged (pun intended) out as soon as each batch cooled enough to not burn me...too bad.

Ya know, this thread got me hungry for some fried pig strips, lettuce, tomato and mayo.
A&W now have a BLT on Texas toast.
Miss Gretchen definitely took note of this.
I told her not to get used to it, but she loved the piece of bacon I picked off for her.
I'll give the sandwich a 6 on the BLT scale.
The toast was too flat and NOT toasty as Texas toast should be.
The weenie voted 10 and was running around the house doing cartwheels.

yeah, especially if you love bacon and peanut butter on toast sandwiches.Just don't eat too much of it or it could happen.
