Apple Graham Cake

Tired of the same old cake all the time and don't feel like heating up the house just to bake a cake, let it cool, then ice it up? Well here's a simple solution to your problem.

Apple Graham Cake

What you will need:

1 box of honey graham crackers
1 large jar of apple sauce
1 container of cool whip
1 large cookie sheet and a spoon.

First, spread out a layer of graham crackers on the cookie sheet however large you want your cake to be.

Next, spread a layer of apple sauce over the crackers.

Then, layer another layer of graham crackers over the sauce, followed by more sauce followed by more crackers and so on till you have roughly 5/6 layers of crackers.

No baking is needed. Once you have your cake prepared, spread out the cool whip over the cake like you would using icing. Total prep time is 5-10 minutes depending on how quick you can spread the crackers and sauce.

Let it sit for a few hours in the refrigerator. This is really important! As it sits, the crackers will absorb the apple sauce and become moist. They will almost bond together forming a cake. If you like cinnamon, you can sprinkle some over the cake before serving. It helps with the presentation. After it's set up, simple cut up and serve.
