It is pretty cool. I saw a Thiokol based VW Bus photo once. That undercarriage looks like a Studebaker Weasel. It should be pretty fast, but I think they were known to de-track?

Is that real? the track is about one half inch from the body and the rear view farside track looks odd. Even the nearest headlight perspective looks odd.:confused: :Peace:

Yeah, the weasel was really bad at walking out of the tracks, most here in Alaska have had a track conversion to make it look more like the Imp type system or torsion bar type. Then they work pretty good, but I would figure that the VW still had the Studebaker engine in it with about 110 hp or so. The VW engine would be hard pressed to get it going very fast at about 45 hp for power....
