Is that the electrically-fired 'vulcan' from the A10s?

Found a link that confirms it's the weapon on the A10, but say's it's called the 'avenger'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swAgSGOW_mk&feature=related
Where'd I get 'vulcan', a variant?

I went through arctic survival class with a bunch of A10 pilots in AK. They mentioned that the A10 would lose so many knots, don't remember how many, in airspeed when firing the gun!

As a retired military member I have watched those Warthog's (A-10) fire at the ranges at Fort Drum NY. That gun has 7 barrels and I think that it is a 37mm. The whole gun is about 10 feet long.
